Frisco Texas Is The Nations Fastest Growing City
As of May 2018, according to the U.S. Census bureau's report on the Fastest Growing Cities in the U.S was Frisco. I topped the list with 8.2% gain, averaging 37 new residents each day. Frisco population is at 177,286 people but growing fast, and was recognized as the fastest growing in the country.
The booming Dallas suburb also landed in the ninth spot in terms of the raw number of residents it added over the year that ended in July -- an impressive feat for a city that, at 177,286 people, is still relatively small.
In 2017, Dallas was the fastest growing city in the US, with approximately 300,000 US citizens packing up their bags and heading to the Big D. In 2017, Dallas also had the second highest rate of job growth just after Atlanta. The city is booming in all sorts of ways right now, with an active downtown revitalization and an explosion of all types of cultural activities—microbreweries, film festivals, and more.
